That's a fair point, and I don't think he's a terrible person or anything, I just think that when you inflate your progressive credentials beyond what they really are it's eventually going to bite you in the ass.

Yeah, it was awkwardly written, for sure.
I would hope this wasn't a huge shock for anybody. I've defended him a lot before (Age of Ultron got way too much shit for a line that was deliberately misinterpreted), but revisiting some of his older quotes about feminism, he's always had a weird relationship with it and displayed all the signs of a male feminist…
A MINUS?
When I saw this advertised on Netflix I thought it was a tv show and was intrigued by a show with such a bizarre premise and the apparent intention to maintain that status quo forever. But it's such a stupid idea for a movie.
That Chapo episode was fantastic. Shame it's subscriber-only, so it's hard to show other people.
guess I haven't missed much
this is dumb
There are similarities between Richard and Bobby, but the primary difference is that Richard is a piece of shit whose death I will cheer. I can't wait for him to slip up and piss off the wrong person.
it's a really weird season. Never was going to be super mainstream. I think Lynch is going for long-term appeal and something that will last, rather than trying to be an immediate cultural phenomenon.
"especially after seeing how the meet-up between Red and Richard uses a black actor as a wordless prop, a nameless piece of background to add to the already formidable threat of the scene"
It was a big part of the original's aesthetic and it's a big part of the new one's aesthetic, simple as that.
"Bobby's reaction to Laura's photo had me bust out laughing"
No, he was fantastic. I love that he's played as this really bizarre combination of painfully awkward and a little bit sinister.
Oh god damn it.
Jesus, you're stupid. I can't believe I thought you were the next O'Neal.
Season 3 is gonna rule
They're apparently all on good terms, he was just busy for this one or something.
"Myriad Harbor" is a great song, but Together rules insanely hard
I pay attention to critical reviews often enough to get real mad when I disagree with it
