Short enough for kisses

I was an extra on The Last Samurai and I stood ten feet behind him. When the creator makes you shorter than me, you need all the help whatever loony cult can give you.

This man plays the hurdy-gurdy so hard his fingers bleed. His Black Sails theme is a modern masterpiece, screaming "Let's get ready for some fuckin' PIRATES!" in the most stonking way possible.

You mean Sylvia Kristel? They weren't married; she came to Hollywood to further her career, but it all ended very badly. She talked quite frankly about it in one of her last interviews:

Being a total 80's kid, I feel the transition to parodying that decade in S2 of Danger 5 worked perfectly. It's naturally darker, more violent, and more garish; the surrealism is cranked up and not a single trope is left untouched. It also reworks the original format extremely well; instead of seguing into a swanky

Yet another stunning episode of Black Sails, this time incorporating the action-packed extended tracking shot that's become hot thing these days. Once again I think it's a real shame the AV Club dropped it at the end of S1.

Palmer drowned in a lake. Lake is a slave in Palma.

Michelle Trachtenberg is a work of art, I'll say that about it.

All these years later, I still miss Gyda and Thyri.

Damn straight, Pavo!

Good to know that even a thousand years ago Christmas with the family sucked.

There is no call for the usage of "espying" unless you are Sir Walter Scott.

It's not strictly limited to television of course, but anyone interested in the medium would enjoy Stephen King's Danse Macabre, which has an extended analysis by King of how horror and tv came together.

So I guess it's a "doer-upper with character"?

It wants the D.
Give it the D.

Obviously this can't cover everything but I would have loved to hear his recollections from working on River Queen. There are a few pubs up the Whanganui River who will never forget him.

Bjorn sure made it easy for the berserker to find him; just follow the hourly man-bellows blasting across the tundra.
"I wonder where he is?"
"RRRRAAAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHH!!"
"Oh, over there"

Why is Lagertha fading away? Girlfriend needs to ditch that zero and get herself a hero.

Raze was awful; ugly, dark and profoundly misogynistic. The AV Club's D+ was far too generous; ironically in light of this review's tagline the Raze one has "Zoë Bell’s tough talents are wasted".
