His turn as the creepy, intense Carpenter in AutoFocus was on the most unsettling performances I've ever watched.

It's the way he moves that does it for me.  You can believe this thing has been rotting the in dark for centuries.

This show was a thrill that I hadn't found in any other TV.  I just hope the return of Mad Men and GoT can assuage the pain.

Chauncey is back.  And this time, it's personal.

You did it just the same.

I wonder what they could possibly bring in to surpass Suzanna Hamilton's magnificent bush.  That hirsute puff of brown curls virtually deserved its own billing.  What modern actress could possibly bring herself to depict the effect of totalitarianism upon a woman's personal grooming?

We'll always have Land of Rape and Honey.

Filth Pig is great because it's the sound of three guys on the verge of killing each other.

Just to talk about the actual episode for a moment: I loved the pacing so much in this.  It just punched along, chapter-like, with great editing.  I was on the edge of my seat the whole time (I just KNEW that horse was going to kick the vet) it was just so tightly plotted.

Don't be a h8r boi.

Why not find the lass attractive?  You could, as my American friend once said, 'bounce a quarter off that ass'.

That look on his face, you almost could hear the rationalisations ticking over in his brain.

The Chinese; a great bunch of lads.

That would be an ecumenical matter.

The whole value system based on Celtic martyrdom predates Ireland by a long time, but it became very popular there, very quickly.

Yes, the ol' Da.

Boardwalk Empire's view of the Rohan family living in Brooklyn wasn't exactly 'sobering', but it did show the squalor and chaos that arose when a bunch of villages got dumped in the slums.  Their sharp division between 'Irish' and 'American' was heavily emphasized.

Damn it's sad.

I thought Daisy was perfect.

Suddenly, from out of nowhere : Jurgen Prochnow!
