I love Webster.  He saw the skull beneath the skin.  Jacobean tragedy itself is intimate and (dare I say) incestuous.  It was all about toning down the Tudor epic-tragedy and focusing on the domestic horrors and the sin behind respectable doors.

I was surprised by the absence of Smut's games from Drowning by Numbers.  His merry combination of chess, cricket and the Tarot seemed awesome and utterly unplayable.
