Can't imagine what the shock and nature of Angela's death will do to Richard.  Their rapport had a thawing effect on him.  This will just send his dial around to psychotic.

Wow, when I first saw this as a kid on its release, it seemed like some kind of cosmic revelation.  I remember the lurid tinting and some good Freddie Mercury numbers.  Good exposure for a classic at least.

Things really become increasingly less funny after that third season, before finally dying a rather sad death.  The premise really ran out of steam with the arrival of the Blair years.  It grew more and more callous and witless, with the cast increasingly becoming caricatures of themselves and just looping the same

Did you ever see "Cybil"?  That was the ghastly neutered US version where they couldn't smoke and solved issues every week.

It says a lot for the awesome tone of this show that an episode with a solo childbirth, a throatslitting, and a sustained gunfight is considered "contemplative" and "conceptual".
