Don't understand the (relative) Season One hate. Sure, it started out a bit slow, but it picked up awful quick. The back half of Season One is pure, unmitigated brilliance, culminating in one of the best season finales of any show ever made.

Should've read all the comments before posting my own, but I totally agree with this.

This episode was just poorly placed
I did not enjoy this episode very much, partly because of the content, but mostly because of the context.

This is the only thing that bothered me about the episode tonight. The whole story with the bomb was a bit nonsensical.

We've heard Smokey operate in the rain, both in the pilot and in the episode where Kate and Juliet were handcuffed together.

The decidedly non-Michigander accent was a bit distracting, but only Michiganders would notice and/or care, so I let it slide.

Incidentally, before the wild accusations start flying, that was not a failed attempt at a firsties. Fuck firsties.
