Kevorkian
I grew up in the Detroit area; Jack operated during my teenaged years. I remember him having overwhelming support in the public; at least, in the working-class public. I also remember always thinking that Fieger was a complete douche.

You definitely need to see Rome. Though Ilana is only in the second season. There is plenty of eye candy otherwise, and the show itself is fantastic.
Jack looked like he needed to change his shorts after seeing Bizarro Locke.
It's not the performance. Every time Sayid is on screen now, he is extremely unsettling. The fact that we don't know (and probably never will know) why he has changes just makes it more unsettling.
Not quite; I don't think he mentioned any passageways or the Wheel at all. I think what he actually said is that it is one of many areas where people's compasses went all higgledy-piggledy, so they (in vain) dug a well to find out why.
Don't think he did; that is… troublesome.
I enjoyed Jack's "I think I might need to change my shorts" look when he saw Bizarro Locke for the first time.
My new favorite AV Club shtick.
The Well
I don't think that was "The Well", Noel. Remember, in 2007, access to the donkey wheel is via the Orchid Station; "The Well" was gone in 1974.
I'm not as educated or well-written as Noel; if he can't convince you, I sure as shit can't.
Alternative Reality = Smokey's Matrix
And Desmond is now Morpheus.
Terrific episode
Not everything needs to the serialized. I've enjoyed every episode so far, and this was no exception. Funny, exciting, well-acted, well-writen, well-directed, good twists, unpredictable… just be patient, people. We'll get to the fireworks factory eventually, enjoy the ride.
Couldn't disagree more
This was the most viscerally exciting and affecting episode all season long. Donna Incognito, who hates 24, even enjoyed it.
Epic Fail just failed in an epic way.
It was a little funnier than the protest circle. Bippety-bop song > "What do we want? Wider doors! Where do we want 'em? Weed stores!" But it is awfully close.
Smokey is Aaron
Really.
Really?
Incidentally, maybe I missed it, but did Alternative Jin look in a mirror or other reflective surface? If so, I completely missed it. I know Sun did, but I didn't see Jin.
Probably would've exposed Sayid to Widmore's team. Would've been great, though.
Just as the Mayans predicted.
