The point is that the majority of groups of armed men are little more than bandits. I do know that they had a couple of satirical rap groups before they started Die Antwoord, so I initially took DA as a straight-up parody. But as you seem to suggest, it seems like they have bought into their own joke. Or maybe they're just really committed to it.

"Sports nerd" is in no way an oxymoron. Have you seen fantasy sports? Have you heard sports fans rattle off useless statistics like the call numbers of the USS Enterprise? Sports nerds were a thing long before the term existed.

I think you're overdoing it. Just go out and like what you like. If you find out the creator is shit, then you can stop liking it, if you want. You don't have a responsibility to inform yourself on the provenance of everyone who produces all the stuff you consume. I mean, do you do the same thing with your food…
