Finally the Bart Lisa storyline we've all been waiting for. Also: has Homer ever been a lumberjack?

The Manic Street Preachers are probably gonna do a tour for The Holy Bible's 20th anniversary and I would literally murder a baby to witness it. If anyone would like to sacrifice a newborn child for my cause please hit up my Hotmail.
Was that actually a thing? I like that album but it wasn't even 10 years old back then or ever particularly ever popular…
I agree with this in part, but it's also because Billy has become increasingly insulated. He can no longer write a strong pop song that overshadows his lyrics, which have become unbearably twee and quasi-mystical rather than having the angst clumsy charm they once did. He no longer works with top of the line…
Hold on a minute, there's still plenty of acting credits on that imdb page. You can scroll down further, check for uncredited appearances, and baby you got a random roles going!
Jay Z kills the momentum so hard. "Everybody knows what my Achilles' heel is….. Lllloooove" Kanye sells his cheesy lines better because he's always been a spotty rapper, but Jay has always had good cred from the Reasonable Doubt era, it's frustrating to hear him be so mediocre. But he's a business, man! He doesn't…
Weird. I somehow never got the word play of that until now. I always thought it was a perfect opening line. It's very grandiose and declarative in a way that mirrors the song's ambition and the narrator's decidedly unambitious nature and misery.
Sorry Todd! I like your writing but I just wasn't ready for our relationship on a newswire level! Oh god I made things weird
I feel like the tone and content of newswire is really off this week. The headlines are a hokey kind of snark, other than O'Neal, of who there's not enough, and the stories are… well…. I hope it's just me.
(Scatman shows up to stop deal just in time to get an axe in the back)
SOMEBODY
Do you mean Master of Ceremonies Skat Cat?
I'm so excited for Babies. It has a lot of lyrics, though, so I hope whoever does it knows it well/has a sheet in front of them/doesn't do a boring acoustic cover.
It'll probably keep growing on me. Definitely has a few shitty songs, though.
While we're airing grievances: I got Monster recently and it's pretty average for an REM album! I demand monetary compensation from the band for taking an artistic risk that didn't really pay off! Now if you'll excuse me I'm gonna put on this $30 Japanese import of Around the Sun…
Woah sudden slam on Sonic Youth! Sonic Youth is actually quite accessible when you consider their no-wave contemporaries/predecessors. Plus they relegate their most experimental work to the SYR series. They are as much Ramones/Iggy Pop as they are weird noise stuff. Check out the Diamond Sea. The first part of that…
Ugghh what an awful review. It was nice to see the comment section counterbalance that cluelessness.
It's pretty disappointing that the reviewer chose to go that route. Not to mention Dan wrote songs where the man is at fault, much like how many blues song are about scorning women but on a deeper level hating themselves for knowing that it's on them, too.
My favorite music video trope is hip hop videos of the 90s/early 00s that end with "to be continued…" and then are never continued.
