What a bizarre story. Feel bad for all of the backers. The only time I've backed a kickstarter was for a musician I deeply admire with a small but dedicated fanbase. I imagine these people are the same, regardless of what's going on with the author.
I'm constantly skeptical of kanye's rap skills, but his verse in Monster and Jay-Z's completely momentum killing verse that followed really validated kanye as a rapper for me. He has a constant energy that sometimes translates to good verses, sometimes to awful ones, but at least he's mostly entertaining
