So much shit will go down next week, it'll be like a mini-episode 9. I can't wait!

Queen of Thorns bares all!

That was an inspired bit of advice for Jorah to get Dany on board with something she presumably needs but detests.

But it had a terrific amount of Missandei!

She has her fires, so I'm assuming she saw him in there. I'm not sure how else she would have gotten the info, but I may not remember a reference on the show.

That, or the birthmark has the secret to time travel encoded in it.

I couldn't help but try to look for a loose seal in a yellow bowtie in the scene.

I agree, but there is one glaring exception - House Frey.

Or at least Annimal Control

Hot potato

I'd walk across the ocean for some ice cream sandwiches

Wait, I have the perfect thing for this

I also winked at my screen, but some coworkers saw me and probably think I'm drunk now

That's not my trick, @Miniblin

Neko Case even has a song called "These White Walkers Love You"

That's definitely why; though given what happens they could easily recast him. I wonder if seeing his ordeal will actually be as compelling, seems up in the air to me, but I'm interested in seeing the result.

The season premiere really should be two hours. Get all the tables set and then the 1 hour episodes separated by a week will be a lot more satisfying from the get go.

Someone should really make a sigil for House Whore.

One of GRRM's greatest decisions in the book IMHO is having all the Robb stuff come from Cat's POV. In a series that already has a load of awesome female characters, it just adds another dimension that is needed and really rounds out the world. She was one of my favourites beginning with her first chapter.

I actually don't see the show as male-dominated at all. Westerosi society clearly is (as are all the places we've seen in Essos), but there are roughly as many major female characters as male, inhabiting every possible role, and we spend more or less equal time with them.
