The commercial break before that I got really excited about the idea of Mickey Rourke finally appearing and told my bf that was totally going to happen, and then 10 seconds into the show Jenna reveals this. It was hilarious and heartbreaking for me.

It has to be because you would almost never write a pregnancy into a show unless you have to. Why have a sexy lady in a prosthetic belly when she can stay sexy, adopt a child and achieve the same result?!…I imagine many TV execs ask.

I second this. The evolution of 30 Rock in its first few episodes to Tracy Does Conan and how it takes that take and runs with it is so intriguing. I definitely want to talk to everyone here about it on an episode by episode basis.

I think he meant in terms of getting good ratings and staying on the air past 2 or 3 seasons.

In season 6 he had lost a lot of the weight already, but his hair coloring was messed up. Be glad you missed that jarring period.
