I laughed so much it became very apparent to everyone in the office that I am not working right now.

I concur. I never stopped laughing through the whole half hour.

So oddly touching. Particularly when that plant fell outside of the dream.

Ha, that's a good point. I think it's just that a lot of movies try to have their cake and eat it too. They don't want too much expository dialogue, so they rely on things people have a general understanding of, but then they don't use it the way we understand it and don't even attempt to offer even a line of dialogue

Sheltie Hooray! Enjoy.

I think that's what makes a good ensemble movie. Not necessarily trying to give everyone equal emotional arcs (for instance, Thor doesn't need one here outside of his preexisting emotional journey with his brother), but giving everyone believable, yet different ones. That way the movie has a lot of variety and

Someone make this into a short! It'll win an Oscar, I promise.

I can't say this enough. Nero went back in time and instead of saving his planet he goes on the stupidest revenge mission ever against Spock! WTF?!

I loved the new Star Trek, but that was despite it having a terrible and stupid villain. Nero went back in time and his only mission to is to kill Spock, rather than save his planet? That's idiotic. Also, none of his minions thought of this either?

If The Avengers didn't have Black Widow in it, it would have been a completely different movie. Not only did she drive the entire plot from the heroes side, but she was also our only real view into how terrifying the Hulk actually is. Plus, since she is the most vulnerable of everyone (except for Hawkeye) she is also

I truly don't understand how everyone loves Thor so much. When it got such great reviews and everyone called it Shakespearean I was genuinely excited. But I think that movie is a complete mess. The Shakespearean drama is like an abridged children's book version of a deeper story and Natalie Portman's character changes

I think Ironman definitely learned about self-sacrifice, but Black Widow was just as much the hidden spine of the movie as he was, which is impressive. It would have been so easy to make Ironman the central focus since he's the most developed character and RDJ is the best actor. Joss Whedon didn't and that's one of

frostfalls  I completely agree. Black Widow really was the glue that held the film together, and it worked all the more because she was the only truly vulnerable one (until Hawkeye becomes good again), making her actions superheroic, whiles the others were just heroes.
