Jonathan Demme made so many movies that both stand up to and reward repeated viewing. All of the movies you brought up are examples of how good a director he was. RIP.

It's funny that Billy Ray Cyrus and Chad Everett were probably the two most recognizable people in the movie before it was released.
I felt the same way you did in some ways. Then for some reason one of the subscription services started showing Mulholland Dr two or three times a week, and I finally understood why people like it so much. It became a,"if it's on, I'll watch" for about a month, after which the channel stopped showing it.
I'm new to Persona, and by the looks of it I have a long way to go. (I'm in the first week of April). One distraction - I can’t figure out why the female volleyball player and the young teacher seem to stare at the ground when you "talk" to them. Everyone else seems to look at you. Any reason for this?
To be fair, Ryuji kind of deserves it. I wish the game makers didn't design him so that he screams his dialogue.
Zara caters mostly to females. Why would they target the demographic least likely to interact with an actual woman?
One fun fact about the local news in Boston. WCVB's morning anchor Antoinette Antonio appeared in a couple of Breaking Bad episodes in its final season. She came to Boston from Albuquerque shortly after Breaking Bad ended.
FOX 25 always faces an uphill climb. Most people who watch the local news are older and out of habit watch either WBZ, WCVB, or, to a lesser extent, channel 7. None of the local broadcasts lean hard left or right, since they all want to attract as many eyeballs as possible.
Eight Heads in a Duffel Bag. Boy did that movie suck. And I liked Dude, Where's My Car. Now I'm off to have my special treat.
I finally got a copy of Hex by Bark Psychosis after looking for it for a few years, so I've been listening to it a lot.
I Bet on Losing Dogs was stuck in my head for a week immediately after the November election. Fortunately I can still listen to Puberty 2.
I was trying to find out the name of the book Jimmy was reading during his lunch break. Thanks for answering the question I meant to ask.
This was the first episode I've seen. I recognized one of the actresses in the episode because she plays a character called Irritabelle in a commercial for a drug for people with bowel problems. I watch way too much television.
A few of those songs were on the old Who compilation Odds and Sods, which was the first Who album I owned. One of the better outtake compilations.
If "be a while" means "never", then I agree with you. I wouldn't be surprised if anyone connected to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame even knew one song by Neu.
Friday - saw the first two episodes of Sense8. I don't know if I'm going to continue watching it - it made me feel more alone than I usually feel. Is it worth it to continue watching?
Yes, I meant Moonshake. My phone's autocorrect function had other ideas.
I feel the same way about all of Julia Holter's music. Then I finally decide to listen to it, and then I feel like I made the right decision.
Moonshake (not Moonshine) - Eva Luna
Seefeel - Quique
Boards of Canada - The Campfire Headphase
Billy Crudup did say that "you have to let go of stuff when you act for a while" when he mentioned Stage Beauty. Maybe that was his way of explaining why he left Mary Louise Parker.
