I remember seeing the ads for "Black or White" on a fairly regular basis, but when they stopped I couldn't think of a theater that actually showed the movie. I don't even remember seeing any reviews of the movie.

"Potato Man"

I ceased to be embarrassed by my taste in music a long time ago, but why would anyone say that they are embarrassed to say that they still like Massive Attack after saying how much they like The Eagles?

This episode was nothing like the Gretchen Schwartz/Jane Margolis slash fiction that I envisioned. Damn.

I'm still hoping NBC brings back that show with Scott Thompson. It was about an FBI agent and his psychiatrist. It was on for three years and it was pretty good. Too bad the ratings were low.

My favorite scene in Rising Sun was when Harvey Keitel sees Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa eating sushi off a naked woman's body. "They're plundering our natural resources!"

Sorry, you can't just write "excepting Oliver Reed" when discussing the acting in Gladiator without an explanation. Other than Phoenix and the two nearly naked women that were clinging to Maximus as he was walking to the arena, Oliver Reed was the most memorable thing about the movie, if only because it was his last

Part of the reason the Doors aren't as critically acclaimed as they once we're has everything to do with the fact that their records sound terrible on compact discs. I'm convinced that the reemergence of vinyl has led to renewed interest in the band.

I haven't thought of Salem 66 in years. Mark me down as someone who'd like to see it back in print.

September through the middle of November is generally when you get the best weather in the Boston area. It can get chilly in the morning but when it's sixty degrees and sunny the atmosphere can't be beat. The real tease is Spring. If you're lucky you'll get one or two days when it is both warm and sunny. Otherwise

What Jeff D. said. Diggstown is a movie that hasn't even received the cult following that it more than deserves.

I have to think the movie Breakdown fits somewhere in this train of thought. That also came out in 1997.

Michael Gaston's on this show? It now has my attention. Granted, he shows up everywhere, but I'm a fan.

I think that depends on whether Dale is referring to the version by The Drifters, or the one sung by The DeFranco Family. The latter was released at around the same time as "Run Joey Run".

1979 is my favorite Smashing Pumpkins song. Also, whenever I catch it on the car radio, it's always almost over. I can't count how many times I've stumbled on to 1979 while going through my car radio presets, only to hear Billy Corgan sing "as you see there's no one around." right before the song ends. Then the next

I was twelve years old when I bought "Country Life" by Roxy Music, a band I never heard of until I saw their posters hanging in the record store. My parents made me return it for obvious reasons, so I had to settle for "Jailbreak" by Thin Lizzy.

Mark Moses is in the third movie.

I'm not angry that "As It Is When It Was" didn't make the cut, even if I think that it's the best track from Brotherhood. If you left "Your Silent Face" off the list, then we'd have a problem.

The only thing that surprised me was that he wasn't more than 100 years old. That left me a little disappointed.

I guess having George Costanza as a mentor was a good choice after all.
