I truly believe the lines get blurred with even the best of parents.

"The last time a girl in her late teens did a naughty naked dance, John the Baptist ended up dead!! WAKE UP SHEEPLE."

I would read your feminist twitter account.

How did you pay the bills in the mean time? I'm running low on savings and even retail/food service jobs won't take my calls.

Marketing/sales. Grad degree, 4 years experience.
Not exactly shooting for the moon.

That's what I thought. Thanks for being honest about it (I'm doing that).
I just hate when people go "Well, did you apply online?" Yeah, for all the good that does. I even tried the humiliation of cold calling on the phone and in-person. Teachers said they would help, but it's 3 weeks since I graduated and they don't

What did you do to finally get hired? I've tried recruitment agencies, but they're so scattershot and unreliable. Online applications never work.

All The Things She Said (About the Government)

"My daemon is a strain of antibiotic-resistant staph infection."
"Damn, that's badass."

I'm sure 50 years from now, internships will be illegal due to rampant abuse during the recession and school textbooks will talk about how it was a tactic to artificially deflate the unemployment percentage.

Was it is daemon a la The Golden Compass?

I was so lucky to only have a diehard (ha) crush on Alan Rickman as a teen/tween. He wasn't probably ever going to go to jail for anything or do anything offensive: he's an old guy and he's tired, damnit.

Oh God, that was so weird. I'm not sure if GRRM is making a statement about the incest trope in fantasy or whether he's really just clueless about it stemming from abusive patterns and not, you know. People being gross.

I meant book Asha, who was all about throwing axes in people's faces and having no-strings intercourse with her shipmates.

Very Asha Greyjoy vibey, isn't she?

Pussy Ryyyyottt (RIOT!)
Throw back a bottle of….huh, I'll just end it there.

What I hate most about Austen is that at least 5 of her boring books are always a part of every "100 Books You Must Read" list. I hate her writing style, and I hate the flowery language, and I hate the forced contrivances. Any time a movie can deviate from her style completely (the 2006 P+P) is welcome.

I'm trying to find a job post-grad school and I went to a career fair at my school.
Every place said "Sorry, we're only hiring unpaid internships."
Which is like only stocking Diet Coke at a food bank.

Like a Shiba Inu.

He's got some big black buttons in the fridge. He pops 'em on his undereyes to get rid of bagginess. Also, soul.
