I'm not sure which I'd rather read
A gateway to geekery in a subject I'm already well-versed in, or one where I'm totally ignorant. Hmm.

It's definitely real, and there are things you can do to reliably induce and prolong it, but at this point it's still enigmatic.

Miller: Good point, but I don't necessarily think so. First of all, the broadcast of the game itself is still going to be very well done. Secondly, there's no such thing as a *bad* NFL player or coach. Despite their performance once they get to the NFL, they didn't get there by being sub-par. And as a Chargers fan,

I'm all for entertainment that doesn't challenge, but the mediocrity bothers me. There's nothing wrong with watching football, but Two and a Half Men was the 7th most watched show on television last week.

Any psychologist worth their salt will tell you that Freud and Jung were full of shit. People rarely dream about sex and most often dream about some sort of failure. We have no idea why, and anyone that claims to be able to interpret dreams is a liar or misguided.

The only dreams I remember when I wake up are nightmares, and they're always very plausible and vivid and I wake up sweaty and horrified at what happened/I did. They're never about pop culture, and the feeling takes a while to wear off too. Make of that what you will.

The artists with the top 5 most downloaded songs on itunes as of right now: Flo Rida, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Soulja Boy, Rascal Flatts. I want to say that I don't think people are idiots, but I'm having trouble thinking of a convincing counter-argument.

Phel: We have something in common! I feel obligated to start internet-flirting with you now.

Anyone else notice a drop off in comments recently?
It seems like a week or two ago this would already have 100+ comments by now. And the microwave pork rinds taste test doesn't look likely to break 400.

They might not be subtle
But they can be graceful. After all, it's a beautiful dance, a beautiful dance with a chainsaw.

But you've already seen it?

Is that a sheet of fabric softener in the promo photo?
Awesome.

AMC's two for two so far. I can't wait to see what they've got on deck

Side note: I tried out that titles in all caps thing, but I'm not going to anymore. It looks like I'm yelling out my tastes to tell you how cool I am.

I saw a short behind-the-scenes feature on Breaking Bad where the guy that plays Jesse Pinkman claimed that Cranston would not cover up the tightey whiteys between shots. He flaunted those bad boys. I think a producer backed this up.

Coming Soon To Broadway!
Good Luck Chuck The Musical!

It worked on Pablo Escobar.

And the av club has been promoting it big time with this Coming Distractions crap. I mean, I think, I've yet to click a link from that box, but I maintain that Kaufman interview newswire was a front to get us all to watch clips from Miss March. Good thing I'm wearing my (tinfoil) Faraday hat.

hence the second post.
