I'd tune in every week for that kind of honesty.

On HIMYM: You can call it a nicely handled arc with Ted, but I'm kind of tired of the show setting up plots just to undo them three episodes later. I might as well just skip ahead to the finale because at this point it's just a series of psych-outs that add little to no character development.

By far my favorite part of the night was Billy Crystal's easy joke about Jonah Hill losing all that weight, just to have the camera pan over to a Jonah Hill who gained all that weight back.

I thought Octavia got a standing ovation because she was black and because a black actor winning an Oscar is still a novelty where the entire room uses it as an opportunity to celebrate "how far Hollywood has come." Maybe I'm alone in this?

I liked this particular sitcom plot better when it was in an episode of WINGS! Just kidding, Wings was awful.

"I'm not too worried about it."

I saw Stevie from Eastbound & Down in the preview for this week's 30 Rock, and that's all I really need to know.

@avclub-fa5b8744a34319c7c9f360b7cc4eb503:disqus You think Sarah will outlive Beverly? More like Sarah's rotund ghost will haunt Beverly until her death at the age of 127.

God, Sarah is the worst. "I haven't made pasta like this since I was in Italy. Did I mention that I studied in Italy? I studied in Italy. Italy."

And she would have nailed the fire and ice theme.

Yeah, halfway through the season Tom asked him how much he had won and his prize earnings were up to, like, 40K.

An AVQ&A about fiction crushes and no mention of Kelly Kapowski. Ten-year-old me is punching you all in the dick.

I have the same fear, but man, I haven't been this excited for an upcoming show in some time. Maybe not since Kings…shit.

Well when you put it like that…

These were a solid C/D, I'd say.

Haha, oh god. Perfect.

Maybe it's just me, but Kelsey Grammer absolutely killed it in the early episode. I can't remember the last time I laughed as hard as when I heard this delivery:

Is Tina Fey pregnant? She looked pregnanter in the second episode.

I had to google who that was and google informs me that it's actually Maulik, with a u. That's my contribution.

Just brilliant.
