Much like the cast and crew, the Quantum Leap finale can bring a tear to my eyes too.  And McGill is great in it, withholding info, but not in such a way that I want to punch him.

I was already out of college, barely, and I remember being annoyed that it couldn't have started a few years earlier, it would have been the perfect college show to grow up around.  And I distinctly remember using good old AOL dial up to search out the Christmas short, and wait forever to watch it.

My nieces and nephews still watch the Vacation movie when they go over to Grandma's house (lovingly preserved on VHS), and it definitely holds up.
