I had some beers with that guy one time. He is 100% exactly what you expect him to be. Such a nice dude and amazingly cool.

Better than XRT?

To this day, Material Issue is one of the best live bands I've ever seen. Jim Ellison was as good a front man as Mick Jagger, what a great fucking band.

I fucking love that record from last year. Should've gotten the same amount of press Beyonce got.

Digging around different 2-Step records. I don't like it as much as I like the stuff that was coming out a decade or so earlier, but I like it more than the stuff that it evolved into. Just an interesting tangent of music to check out for a week or so. Nothing life changing for me.

As someone that walks in a large city a lot and am almost hit at least every other month (and have been hit and was lucky to walk away from it) it's not so much the smartphones, as it is a general lack of patience or just plain being too stupid to look the direction you're turning before you start turning. I'm cautiously optimistic.

He accidentally fucked her? Did he just trip and insert his dick in her?

Ugh, that fucking freezer. That's the one part of the book that has really stuck with me almost 30 years on.

It looks horrifying and I'll be watching it in full daylight with all the lights on, preferably on a sunny Saturday afternoon. I'm 40 and I'm a fucking pussy.

I love that he's still pissing people off, whether he's ever believed anything he's ever said or not. It still makes me fucking laugh that people are bent out of shape about it.

He's great in that Trapper Schoepp video!

Funny you say that, after I submitted, that was going to be my one bitch. The Minneapolis to Chicago (or vice versa) and skip Milwaukee tour logistics.

Lex Luger?

Ugh, vodka and milk one night because we had nothing else in the house. No fucking idea how we choked down that half bottle of vodka.

Milwaukee dweller here (not native, but I've been here almost half my life now, so I consider it my hometown). I think the only people that feel that way are the under 30 crowd and I don't know why. Chicago's fucking awesome and it's close, even if the sales tax sucks, and Milwaukee's awesome in it's own way, it's

Is it a German thing? I grew up, in Wisconsin, with melted cheese on Apple Pie by way of my father who had grandparents from Germany. My wife, who grew up literally 5 minutes away from where I did, had never heard of this until we got married.

New Arboueretum album today too. I'm not a huge fan, but I'll probably give it a shot at some point.

Jesus Christ, I've never seen this movie, but a mugging Bill Murray and R Kelly on the soundtrack. Yeah, fucking no thank you.

To be fair, my 12 year old just saw it for the first time a few weeks ago and thought it was fantastic. There's a first time for everyone.
