Where

…oh where are the podcasts from outside the US?
Someone else who just finished watching it on Channel 4? ;)
Who..
asked this question?
I adore 2HB. There's just something about it that hypnotizes me. Roxy Music was one of my mum's favourite bands growing up but she thinks 2HB is rubbish Oh well Mother.
As mentioned above, The Bugle and Kermode and Mayo are both good. Answer Me This, The Adam and Joe Show (now on hiatus), Collins and Herring.
Again…
…the AV Club's coverage shows an unwillingness to look outside of the US for its picks. Podcasts give you the chance to expand your scope a little by highlighting some shows from other English-speaking countries, but yet again you pass up the opportunity. What gives?
Always
These roundups are always so massively US-centric. Is there never any attempt made to investigate comedy from other English speaking countries?
I have seen both series, which is why I am claiming that the Swedish version is superior. Maybe you shouldn't jerk that knee so violently in assuming I hadn't.
Basically, yeah. I guess you were in line to see Let Me In as well, huh? Got a problem with reading?
The BBC version?
Not the original Swedish one? American aversion to subtitles prevails again, and Americans miss out as a consequence.

I saw the trailer for this the other day and remembered that you had reviewed this at some festival last year, so I went to read the review. Originally you gave it an A-, now it's got a B+, yet the contents of the review itself are the same. I also noticed the exact same thing happened for The Good, The Bad, The…
They weren't BBC radio shows, they were on Xfm.
Seconded. That is a fucking great song, World Cup connections or not.
Also, this proliferation of leagues and tournaments are part of what makes football so great in my opinion. Imagine all the twists and turns you get in an NBA season, but then imagine that, depending on your level of interest, there are dozens of leagues and cup in different parts of the world for you to follow. It's…
I'm always surprised by the extent to which people from non-soccer nations struggle to understand the machinations of soccer leagues. I guess it's complicated to the extent that there are different competitions running concurrently, but I would have thought the league format itself would be simplicity itself to…
League and cup
The team didn't win the Championship, they won the cup. In soccer, a cup competition generally has no relation to the league. Games are played in a simple knockout format, while the league runs concurrently. Cup competitions are generally the home of fairytale runs to the final, much like happened here,…
Funny
It's interesting to see the ins and outs of how and when things get picked up on by the internet. This was from a BBC interview from nearly two weeks ago.
First song to use synth's to go to number one in the UK charts I believe.
Teeth
Good lord, Americans have a lot of them.
I think it might stem from different attitudes on either side of the pond. In the UK it's a lot more normal to take the piss out of your friends, to a degree that might seem cruel to an outsider. Reginald D. Hunter does a great bit about it. "This is my mate Dave. He's a complete twat."
