From this I am led to believe that no one in America eats real food.
No… "A Grand Day Out" wasn't finished after "The Wrong Trousers". The latter was released in 1993 I believe - three years after the AGDO.
I really don't understand all the love for Hannibal. I watched most of the first season and found it repetitive and dull. It has a unique style, sure, but its characters are fairly one note and it's story-telling never seems to actually go anywhere interesting. I can't figure out what it is I'm supposed to be missing.
I remember when "Tennis the Menace" first aired thinking it looked kind of odd, in a way I couldn't put my finger on.
Mike, I think you mean Jack Huston, not Danny Huston. Also, I take issue with the idea that Boardwalk Empire isn't up there with Breaking Bad or Mad Men. I think it's just as good.
Isn't this a bit weird, considering neither Lincoln, Django Unchained or Zero Dark Thirty have been released in the UK yet?
The endless pleasure Americans seems to get from stringing together hoary old Britishisms and cliches never ceases to bore. I normally appreciate the effort O'Neal puts into his news posts, but this is just plain lazy.

Is it really the Futurama season finale though? Didn't they do this last season? Air half the season, take a break for a few months, then air the second half?

Cloverfield is held in far too much regard on this site. It's a largely forgettable film. And as for it successfully making something interesting with the found-footage gimmick? That was it's weakest part. It entirely shattered the suspension of disbelief. Chronicles was a far more coherent attempt at it.

I saw the two guys from Broken Lizard who are in this film at stand-up last week. I'd never really heard of them or their work before, but I certainly won't be rushing out to look it up. If their stand-up was anything to go by, it's cliched frat-boy humour. There was actually a group of frat boys near us, almost…

Funnily enough, the actions of those from outside the US, particularly when they are meant to be explicitly celebrating the values and institutions of their own countries, are not solely driven by reactions to the internal politics of the mighty America.

It's quite clearly based on "Fast and Loose". And David Armand is not a professional mime as far as I can see.

With the title being changed, does anyone know if there are any other differences between the American and British versions? Have they changed any of the references or anything? I'd like to see it when it comes out here in Canada, but if it's been changed at all I might just wait to see it when I get back to the UK.
