I got a Star Trek notification, but not a Star Trek: The Next Generation notification for this?

You don't just have a neat catvatar, you're full of good ideas!

I think LeVar Burton is likeable and I am glad he is getting work.  Does that mean I will acknowledge the new season of Community, much less watch it?  Doubtful at best.  What's the emotion for all that?

What about a rat in the background?

I'm not really a Dr. Dog fan, so I'll mock away.

At the time, the term 'dogtor' had not been approved for use in the general medical lexicon.  Also, someone was worried that it may have copyrighted as the name of a villain in some crappy 1980's cartoon.

Let's see…interview with Lou Barlow today, new Sebadoh album gets a "C"…everything is normal at the AV Club today.

How many times have I had this conversation:
"I keep trying to get into Friday Night Lights and I always get distracted by how good-looking Buddy Garrity is."
"I know, right?" *swoons*

I don't know what's more unbelievable, that I clicked on a Buzzfeed link or that I didn't regret it.

He's referring to the digital video process, which allows for brighter color and a clearer picture than film.*

Well, why wasn't that movie called Lee Daniels' The Pisser?  We would have loved that more than we do, certainly more than Kate Hudson.

I love that exchange for so many reasons.  The delivery, Jonah Hex being badass, but mostly for not making time travel a Big Secret so we can get right to our heroes fighting robot dinosaurs.

Well I'm sure that Kirk and all the other lace-curtain motherfuckers in the staties will be ecstatic about this development.

Nice review, Oliver.  I think you nailed the theme of these episodes - they're mostly fun, giving our present-day heroes a chance to interact with heroes from some different time periods, but the relationships lend some gravity.

Your polka band should play AV Fest next year!  Failing that, you should at least talk about your gigs here sometimes.

Amazon Women on the Moon is kind of ridiculous but I agree, it's just 'okay' overall.  Part of the fun is all the cameos; there's apparently a cameo by some Cranston guy as part of the 'funeral roast' segment, if Wikipedia is to be believed.

I'm going to be honest, I only read this to see if his "Eastbound and Down" haircut was discussed.  I was not disappointed by this interview.  Good show, Marah, good show.

Do ye wanna get SUED, BOY?

SUCK IT TREBEK

"It is time for us to take you for a ride."
