I can almost guarantee that if a concert venue allows ICP's soda-spraying mayhem, they'll only do it under the condition that it's diet soda. No exceptions. Regular soda is so sugary that it's sticky and hard to get rid of. Diet soda washes away easily.

Someone on Twitter wrote a thread on why ICP fans being classified as a gang is an actual, not-at-all funny problem for their fans:

Reveal may be a weaker album overall, but "Imitation of Life" is a bonafide classic R.E.M. track.

I bought this on CD around Christmas of 1997, and I remember loving that Filter/Crystal Method opener. I have pretty vivid memories of sitting in my parents basement (of course), level-grinding my way through Final Fantasy VII with this soundtrack on in the background. That Prodigy/Tom Morello track is the only thing…

I think there are more Brits in KMFDM now than there are Germans. Sascha recruited almost all of Pig to join the band when he reformed it in 2001, after the MDFMK project flopped.

That stunt-suit got the band tons of press; not just in music blogs, but in mainstream outlets like the LA Times and MSNBC. Right before Puppy launched a national tour, too.

Yep- hailing from Vancouver, along with their producer (Dave "Rave" Ogilvie) and original label (Nettwerk). All Canadian.

Skinny Puppy are, and will always will be, one of my favorite bands, Canadian or otherwise.

So glad to see some of my favorites (High Fidelity, In the Loop) near the top of my list. As for what's missing, off the top of my head, I'm thinking This is the End and Pootie Tang (the latter of which I admit is not for everyone).

Oh, bummer. I remember that show being pretty great. It's too bad you can't get it in an un-compromised form.

I don't know about the special features, but didn't the Shout Factory set have most of the show's music? I remember that being one of the major selling points when it was released. I never really followed-up, though, so I could be mis-remembering it.

I'm probably about to lose all credibility with this, but I actually liked 'Centipede Hz' more than 'Merriweather Post Pavilion.' Now, let me say up front that MPP is a fantastic record (as is the 'Fall Be Kind' EP), but CHz just hit me a bit harder.

Hell yeah! If the singles are any indication, this is a potential "Best Album of 2015" for me.

This is one of my favorite R.E.M. tracks. I know a lot of fans who list this as one of their favorite post-Bill Berry tracks, but that damns it with faint praise a little. This song could go toe to toe with anything from their post-IRS period.

Thank you, Sir! I will do some searching at my local used CD shop.

That's a great point- this record a terrific primer for those other great early aughts bands.

Spoon are a band that I've always kind of known about but never really listened to. I should probably fix that. Can someone give me a quick primer? Like, what are the first couple of albums to start with?

If I had to make a list of my favorite post-new millennium bands, Deerhunter would be near the top. I love the new single and I can't wait for the new record and tour. See you at the Seattle show.

My favorite forced "controversy" from Weird Al's Behind the Music was when they tried to set up his Red Hot Chili Peppers parody as something that pissed the band off:

They performed it in Seattle, and it was awesome. 'Can't wait for that episode.
