This, you said it better than I ever could. And, for those interested, I liked Westworld.

But since the Good Place isn't real, is the stoner real or did Michael just make him up?

I've been shipping them since Jason and Janet's wedding. Right before the wedding Eleanor says "It's a forked-up relationship, but it's OUR forked-up relationship" , that got me right in the feels. And at the actual wedding, the two up them drinking and snarking on the wedding, (does anyone have an objection "oh god

It's a shame new book is no good. I liked The Alienist and it's sequel Angel of Darkness. He also wrote a Sherlock Holmes that was pretty good. I'm excited but not sure about TNT. And it's been awhile since I've read the book, but I don't remember a main female character in the story, I remember Teddy Roosevelt being

My favorite movie. Actually, my favorite part was my then seven year old nephew ran around for the next year yelling "you killed my father prepare to die!" as the answer to any question

Nice to meet you, can't wait to read your stories.

If you haven't read it yet, try Beowulf with the Seamus Heaney translation, it's wonderful.

Absolutely, my daughter was given Tale of Two Cities when she was in seventh grade, she could not get through it, not the vocabulary, it was the pacing. Give Dickens another try, he really is worth it. I tell people to try reading it a couple chapters a week, Dickens was first published in periodicals, that's why

Ooooph!

Love SK, but I love love love his short stories. They really are perfect. It's no wonder my favorite SK movies, Stand by Me and Shawshank Redemption, are based on his short work.

Shush, don't say it. Mel is the 2000 year old man, end of story. My fingers are in my ears I can't hear you

I said this already upthread but it bears repeating, I love Gary, Keith and Ron (even when the Mets are sucking) but I'll always miss Ralphie. Ralph Kiner, talking baseball for 53 years.

The Mets suck but I love Gary, Keith and Ron. And this article makes me miss Ralphie. Ralph Kiner, 53 years broadcasting, "It is gone, goodbye".

After the Thin Man!! I love all the Thin Man movies. Stewart is great, starts out "typical Jimmy Stewart" and….well, is it spoiling if the movie is 70+ years old?

Billy Crystal's devil is great, I was coming here to say the same thing. And I always love the line about there's air conditioners in hell because the devil has stock in Freon.

I was going to say the same thing. Forever and always, Clint IS Roland. Even Stephen King has said he had Eastwood in his head when he wrote the first book.

Yes! She's who popped into my head the first time I read the book. No one can look disdainful (and slightly stoned, but that would be a different movie) better than Lumley.

"I love you guys, Gene, Louise, the other one". Poor Tina, even on a different show she can't get a break.

I love Lucy too. And it's the only b&w show my daughter and her friends will watch (I also love the honeymooners but they love only Lucy).

You have a point but if you look thru the comments, a lot of the deaths seem to be at the latter end of a series run. At the point where the show has gone downhill to such a point that this is more the last straw than the absolute reason. But that's a very unwieldy title.
