@avclub-1b8f6a3ae0bbd4c39911fb096055fc66:disqus COUNTER-COUNTER-COUNTER-COUNTER-BUSTER: Does "The Big Hit" still hold up? I remember it being hilarious, Sisko as a mob boss! Double-crosses! Sexy schoolgirl! but I worry that it would, in fact, not hold up.

I mean, I have a friend who reads it all the time.

Watched the original
via Netflix pacing the retro-review on AVC until season 2 at which point I went on a bender.

Why would I read anywhere else?
Energybending always bothered me as a deus ex machina.
Korra felt a little rushed as the relentless plot development never gave characters a 'bridge' episode to breath

Okay, okay, I've never watched a second of Babylon but, rather improbably, I played a CCG in freshman year plus an assortment of other implied nerdery (Firefly, DS9>TNG etc.)

I've always liked Simon since if I was thrust into space I'm pretty sure that's where I would be pigeonholed, only if they needed spreadsheets instead of medical aid.

I can understand the point since conflict requires flaws and "interesting stuff" requires conflict. It never really bothered me that much because I think it provided a bit of stability for the rest of cast to orbit around. I think it does make her swift actions (like when she decks Saffron in Trash) more striking
