I definitely didn't get what he was trying to do by putting out the volcano. Everyone (more or less) got on the boats. So he was trying to save… what exactly? His home? Just because he can?

My refresh key thanks you.
Ohhhhh, good point. Niggling complaint hereby retracted.
In the flashbacks scenes there's a brief flash of a younger Iroh playing with baby Zuko with Iroh's son building a sand castle nearby. If you don't cry just a little then you clearly have no soul.
The Beach is one of my favorite episodes: wacky fish out of water comedy + character rounding out. When Azula breaks up the volley-soccer-ball huddle with a crisp "Dismissed!" I crack up every time.
Strong words. But I don't disagree. Great Divide had the trickster ending with Aang making it up and Avatar Day had shoe jokes. Just enough to edge them over Painted Lady I'd say.
It's fortunate that I watched Sokka's Master *after* painted lady, to cleanse the palate. If the order was reversed I would be forced to round to a B-.
I always thought that was unfair. Ty Lee and Mai aren't benders, right?
Anyone else notice that on the gates to the swordmaster's palance the sigil of the fire nation is enfolded within the white lotus? I thought that was a nice touch.
That's true, it does focus on Katara. I just feel it's one of Sokka's best moments: seeing through the plan, saving the town because he saved the old man. I like that Sokka a lot more than the slightly over-officious bossypants. (though I like both plenty)
Actually I think "Jet" is his highlight: comes up with a solid plan, compassionate towards innocents, and smart. While Sokka's Master isn't bad, some of his goofbally responses (rolling his face in the ink, lolbad watercolor) seems more dumb than creative.
I know a lot of people thought Fallen Empires was a letdown after the howling madness that was the Legends expansion, but I really enjoyed the more coherent story and art direction of the Icatian and Dwarven battles against the onslaught. Plus the Hand of Justice? What a badass!
I had the same exact experience! I'm terrible with mystery novels, "the judge faked his own death the whole time?!" as it just doesn't occur to me to ponder. But yeah, I wonder what it is about this one.
Yup. Just like the first Final Fantasy that people play is the best one too.
Crash Team Racing is excellent. I can't even think of a second choice.
Crash Nitro Racing doesn't exist as far as I'm concerned. Turns out that changing dev studios really does matter (Naughty Dog vs. Universal I think)
it really does. I still prefer the 'timed triple boost-slide thing' of CTR to the drifting in mariokart.
Haven't you played it before?
I could (and did!) play the sub mini game for hours. If only I could get the golden chocobo that way…
The irregular posting schedule hurts the shippers. We look forward to your properly celebrated return.
