"Oh, right! To call *you* stupid would be an insult to stupid people!  I've known *sheep* that could outwit you; I've worn *dresses* with higher IQs.  Yet, you think you're an intellectual, don't you, ape?!"

Or they're simply so annoying you want to set yourself and everyone else on fire.

Who uses a five-sided die?!  The brightest timeline: Ben and Leslie set up a menage a trois with Ann.  Leslie and Ann are co-parents of the baby Ann has with Chief Trumple. Ben babysits, but the child makes him terribly skittish.

I know!  It's a stupid and annoying ad, anyway, but I was hoping it would at least show the depressed woman without the wind-up key once she was on the medication she needed.  You know, now she's actually living her life, not mechanically going through the motions.

Starbucks is still going relatively strong, anyway.

Stark raving sane.

And he does both.

And next season.  It's extraordinarily difficult to stage effectively.

His son is studying buffoon.

Or just as mad.

I get you. I'm incredibly glad to live alone and not be dating.  I have to interact with people ALL DAY at work, and then friends want to hang out, and my family wants to talk on the phone and make visits from out of town…. THAT IS PLENTY.

But people do really do stuff like goof around topless!  You know how plenty of guys will lounge about without a shirt on?  There are women who find that comfortable too.

It's just that Hannah's nakedness gets played so matter-of-factly that, for this show, it doesn't make any more sense to me to say, "Oh, look, another nude scene" than "Oh, look, another clothed scene."

When people get so immediately upset at being told their thinking is heavily influenced by sexist (or racist, etc.) attitudes, that should be a signal for them to take a moment and figure out why they're having such a strong reaction.

@avclub-7aee1b75b527e215f31e20a5c4e7a768:disqus  Are they against my chauvinism for getting amusedly distracted by Martha Burns' accent and by many of the women's terrible, terrible Canadian clothes?

"Please turn your head while I crawl away.  I'm going through some stuff right now. …I'm very insecure."

"Carolyn, I love you."

I have a Soviet joke!

Heh.  That says, "To fuck her, we will do, this is to live."
