I would recommend starting with the last episode of season 1 and proceeding from there.  If you're in love with everyone at the end of season 2, you can go back and watch the other episodes of season 1, because you'll see more things to like about the characters then.

Agree on the whole, though I don't think Walt's more humble life was necessarily the best thing for him.  I don't think there *is* a best thing for him, unless at some point he genuinely wanted to improve how he looks at himself and approaches the world.
