100x agreed. Actually, all of Del Toro's creatures look great and I'm sure he doesn't have a tenth of the budget that something like the Star Wars prequels got. He uses CG judiciously to make things look better, but doesn't rely on it to fill in every fantastical element, and it looks so, so much better that way.
