The books are better than the movies anyway. But now that I think of it, the Quidditch scenes kind of drag in the books too…

Yeah, I liked them in the late 90s too. In my defense, I think they were considered cool then, at least kind of.

I'm pretty sure Bleach got cancelled a few months ago? The manga's still going, but not the anime.

I don't mind him too much, because he just has one fairly short monologue and then he's gone. If Macbeth was a comedy, the porter would pop up every other scene, and there'd be a "hilarious" subplot about him trying to woo a shepherdess or something.

Young people being accidentally exposed to transgressive films is one of my favorite things. It happened to me a lot in school, basically because my teachers were lazy and never did their research, and I think it actually shaped me as a person and got me interested in more challenging art and pop culture.

Yeah, but like 10 new movies come out every week, so you should be able to pick something you know you'll at least not hate?

A lot of old people seem to REALLY enjoy complaining about how everything is terrible and weird now, so in that sense they're probably getting their money's worth?

I'm kind of fascinated by Crispin Glover, but yeah, I had basically the same reaction just watching the preview.

J.P. McPickleshitter, that's interesting - it's kind of a relief to find out that was Shakespeare's intention, actually. I always just assumed people in Elizabethan England were really mean and found that whole thing hilarious.
