Look up terminal depression.

A reviewer gives a negative review to a shitty book. Dies of terminal illness. The writer of said shitty book goes on write more shitty books (http://www.powells.com/revi…. Fans of shitty writing feel vindicated.
**Early-ish Updike was great, BTW.

He employed careful craftsmanship and unique prose style
to describe underage breasts.

Yes, Yankee Deer scores.

I know, the Wiki page has an endless scrolldown for the number of awards he won for Basterds, including the biggest two. I saw Basterds yesterday and managed to fiund the most idiotic way to express my admiration.

Yes and yes, crawling back to my cave, head hung low.

Hans Landa?
Did I see the great Christoph Waltz? How the fuck did he not get an award for Basterds? Well some cash would be good too.

Is Malik B on it? If not, no dice.

xochi, Ellroy has given props to DeLillo for inspiring American Tabloid.

He better get some Ellroy
Some of his finest work, Ellroy's I mean.

An ordinary hack merely misunderstands the subject of his review. Only White is capable of showing ignorance about an entirely unrelated classic.

I loved the sort-of send off Andy gives to his toys when he hands them of to the new kid. He becomes a kid again for a little while before going in the adult world. The kid was a great character too.

Totoro's cameo cheesy? Hell no and it did make me very happy. Pixar leaked that screen saver months ago.

I see your point Fidel. But… The U.S. soccer team is a decent side who have been steadily improving. They haven't been successful enough to be assholes. Yet. Them and their fans will always get heaps of condescension. They don't need any outside hate. That dick from Washington Post or wherever was especially grating
