<_<

edit: I'm in the middle of latest PR Aus ep, and please take me off of any list that supports Matcho. I think Dylan said it best when he said "It's not that it was horrible, it's that it was inappropriate" - which is a great way to say it, especially when it's a client-based challenge. Oh well, there's enough good

last paragraph "*work ethic"

@kirble I've taken three years of Tagalog, and I can't believe I never thought to check out pinoy PR - what a great way to cement my third year Tagalog! I'll start getting them tonight. I wish there was a forum setting we could do this in, but at least we can all do this here, and that makes me happy!

I mean, Henry kinda ripped on Kelleyanne last year. I meant that!

Yeah Perry kind sucks. I hate the glasses on his head. RECENTLY, he's had some ok advice, but before he was just like, "Random Fashion Statement-Giver" - kinda like "think bigger/smaller/tighter/rounder/darker/lighter…" - nothing really of substance. But, again, he kinda ripped up Kellyanne that season which made me

YES! I am watching the current PR Aus - and yeah, Craig's a little on-the-fence for me. I loved the last challenge, but the teams were all like happy. Erm, except for one :)

also, PR Aus always does a "reunion" episode at the end, which I personally like. I think it's kind of cool when they look back at all the horrible edits by the Producers and then the designers react to it in front of each other. Cringe-worthy (again), but yeah, awesome!

Worst/Favorite Challenges? Future ideas?
sorry dp, I know!

I love team challenges. I love the horrible train-wreck of egotism and self-loathing that comes from a PR team challenge! I was sort of bored in PR Aus this past year when the designers all dug each other and pretty much always worked well in pairs. Granted, it wasn't all pretty :) And they get to say "fuck" on TV and

@OP I posted on this last week, but it's weird how, in all the different PR incarnations, there is a larger modicum of designers helping each other out. In PR Australia S2, I noticed it a lot. And it was out of sympathy/empathy for each other. This is also why I loved S2 of PR Aus. It was full of cattiness and

Haha after all those tweets/vlogs/blogs about that, it's kinda become a benchmark in the PR-world. But, if you think about it, we'll kinda also cling on to anything. I liked Michael C, and during the season rewatch, knowing what was coming up when they brought Ivy back made me feel more sympathetic to his cause. I'm

holy shit, that "Oh no!" was awesome. It was the first (and most likely only) time I felt for Bryce. But then they put his talking head up and I wanted to slap him again. But great moment for sure.

Other incarnations of PR?
Im just wondering if anyone else has binged (and purged, in the case of PR Canada) on the various other incarnations of PR? I've seen about 5 or 6 of them so far, and I think PR Australia is the best, hands down. Granted, they all tend to blend together, but PR Aus seems more focused on the

Contestants able to hear judge's discussions?
So my buddy and I have been arguing about this since S2 - I am adamant that the designers are not able to hear the Judges bandying back-and-forth, after they leave the stage; my buddy believes differently. I can see both sides, but it doesn't seem like it would really be

'Party Down' Ep in 2 weeks?
I keep hearing that (on pretty crappy internet right now, and I'm spending it on theavclub). Does anyone know if that's still the case?

It wasn't lost on me, man!

@kirble - I'm making my way through S2 of PR Canada - something about Iman really bothers me; I'm not sure why - I find her stiff, and her catchphrase just feels so forced. Heidi has hers, but she just seems more natural-sounding. And she's not as stiff. But I was wondering if you watched S2 yet? I've seen a bunch of

@Sari/kirble Haha I'll definitely be updating here for sure! It's not a formal study or anything, we're just using a few basic audio recorders and formant programs to plot it all - just in our spare time. I'm seriously calling some major variance on his accent. Not that it really even matters, he could be compensating

I remember seeing a tag once or twice on the bottom of the screen about that… maybe it was a few seasons ago. I'll check it out now though. We just see a few minutes of the runway judging, but I'd guess the spend about 10-15 minutes per designer on the top/bottom group.
