I'm back and forth sometimes on Ramin Djawadi, but I generally like him. His sly introduction of the Rains of Castamere last season was gold.

Poor Loras trying to make small talk was hilarious.

(Book 4 spoilers)

I've thought that Roose was kind of dull compared to his book counterpart until this season. I take it all back.

@avclub-b7ee6f5f9aa5cd17ca1aea43ce848496:disqus Yup. The Ghost of High Heart, and one of my favorite chapters. I kept waiting for Mel to call her "dark heart."

True, but he also kills a whole lot of people in the first movie. When he escapes from the cave he beats down a bunch of them and then straight up burns the rest alive with flamethrowers. Plus he smokes like 6 or 7 guys in that village when we get the first real suit action scene.

"The culture rays" gave me a good laugh.

He lost his chain for creating Goatley.

I recognized the "I know, I know," and immediately texted "Patchface!" to two of my book-reading friends. Neither knew what the fuck I was talking about until I explained it. Apparently some people have mentally blocked out Patchface altogether.

I could say the same about Jon's entire story after Season 1. Bad time management.

There was a lot of ass in this episode, complete with bending over in front of the camera. Ygritte, Jaime, Brienne, Petyr's spy…

That was the one thing this episode that I really did not like. It reminded me of the Governor's tanks in this last season of The Walking Dead.

There was also so much building/payoff to things that were referenced in Book/Season 1. Jorah's original reason for being with Dany and Viserys, Jaime's "burn them all" line to Robert, Tyrion's wife Tysha. Love it.

“I know, I know, oh oh oh…”

I really, really hope they include some more of Edd's lines from the books.

Yes. I love that stuff.

Haha, oops. Fixed.

For everyone wondering where the hell Beric Dondarrion and his mission from Ned came from (skip to around 2:04): http://www.youtube.com/watc…

"The Qyborg" - awesome.
