Am I the only nerd to spot Nick Fury's flying car at the end? Calling it "The Lola" means its probably "The L.O.LA." which means it's probably some cool tech thus, Nick's flying car.

I'd like a write-in vote for "Summer (The First Time)" by Bobby Goldsboro (which is cheesy, but has a lovely, atmospheric arrangement and… oh, dammit, yeah, it's pretty sexy)  and "Lola" by the Kinks (which is stone-cold awesome.)

…and consider that he owes his career to his ability to copy the
style of Chicago bluesmen, most of who are (internal) migrants. "Dumb"
and "Hypoctite" doesn't even come close.

yeah, really: how haven't you? It's Jack and Jessica Lange doin it, fer real.

"Judging from the avatars,…"

Feist's version isn't available anywhere? So, I have to steal it?
(Also: the movie is godawful. Hard to believe it's by the same person who did "Away From Her")

Really? Is that what happened? Nooooooo……
So why did Robin turn into Blond Connery?

one thing though: what WAS that accent? Was he doing Scotty from Star Trek?

When that movie was in production, there was a rumour that it was actually Nolan's second Batman movie (Bale, Caine etc) and that Bowie was playing… the Joker.
Actually rather glad that didn't happen. 1970's Bowie perhaps, but not the guy who played Tesla.

That could be my favourite line in Flight of the Conchords.

Totally - so casually menacing.

Love the Daily Show but have to agree - Oliver is small doses is just ok, but an entire show?
Hopefully, he'll drop the persona and try to be a bit real. (At least in the interviews.)

Erin Grey for me, too. Lindsy, not so much in Bionic Woman, but then, years later, I saw her in Paper Chase and well now…

I seem to remember a fantastic car chase in Seven Ups, right?

um… there's two dates in Canada.

They're planning on filling the Air Canada Centre? Really?

Is no-one going to mention the tv show? Oh yeah - and it was as bad as you'd think.

Holy shit - @avclub-ce76f75953c25ab32c5ad6b9980803c2:disqus has the answer: Prince's 1999 - "1999" and "Little Red Corvette".
Wow.

"The look on your face yanks my neck on the chain
And I would do anything (I would do anything)
To see you again
Oh, I'm falling behind"
One of my favourite lyrics ever. Add Kelly's voice to the response, and the way Neko soars on "to see you again" and… there's no words.

seconded on @avclub-5751693536add9cb4b813590b0fedbf9:disqus comment: it's a response to WHAT song?
