I say socialist Captain America, to really irk the purists.

The band were (fairly justifiably) long-forgotten, especially outside the USA (I'm a fairly big fan of punk from that era, and I'd never even have heard of the Runaways without Joan Jett's future stardom).

There's a b-side from Cut Your Hair, an instrumental which had a title when they did it for a Peel Session but was untitled on the 12", which is as good as anything they did post-Slanted.

The bit about them deliberately training one of their guys wrong, "as a joke", was funny, but lots of it was not funny. Maybe Oedekerk has learned some humility from all the fuckups his career has gone through recently.

I say "fuckety fuck fuck" in a high voice like the guy from the last GloboChem advert quite a lot. It makes me smile, remembering that sketch. So brilliant.

I'm with Dwide on this one. You're awesome.

I will follow you to the ends of the earth, unregistered poster.

I wanted to start a topic about it but stupid IE at work isn't letting me.

The scene with Jolie and her out of Lost is all well and good, but they are wearing amusing underwear, so it's difficult to…er…concentrate on it. But she was so incredibly attractive and now, indeed, looks like some balloons tied to a stick.

My erection just withered away. Damn you Prepon and your scientology!

Do not feed the trolls.

Where would I be without random guys on the internet imagining because they have lots of time to write lots of words, anyone should give a damn about them?

Long-running, yes, but how many of 30 Rock's 80-odd episodes has Don Geiss been in?

Maybe not the most hilarious episode they've ever done, but compared to the ratings for Community and P&R, this was a joke. It was solid and had plenty of laughs.

I like that April is kinda maybe trying to get with Andy, as she's probably twigged that sublety isn't going to work. Nice slow burn.

I was bought this for Christmas (I'm a Brit) and I still haven't read it yet. I ought to at least dip into it before he appears on Colbert next week.

I think we got a few episodes of I Love Lucy, but certainly growing up we had no Honeymooners or Gilligan's Island. That's what confused me when watching "Remote Control" on MTV back in the day.

Fawlty Towers is a near to perfect as TV situation comedy ever got, I think (and has the benefit of only ever having 12 episodes, all written by its stars) but as good as the Honeymooners was, it's certainly not the funniest show ever.

I thought it was Gary Sinise.

Suggestions for next month?
Kinda of helps to be a Star Trek / Star Wars fan who's seen the films, but
