I think its a reference to MTV show Acceptable.tv, which was based on Channel 101, which Harmon created with Schrab. But I'm not sure.

In case your interested, Chang has been used in the past to represent some of Harmon's more insane and baser creative instincts. I mean, of course all creatives are obsessed with themselves, but Harmon can take it to another level.
To be clear, I love Dan Harmon's ability to put so much of himself into a sitcom. It's also his achilles heel, and the reason why some people just don't 'get' Community (or Conan, or a lot of things).
This is one of those episodes (like the Blade episode) which is transparently about Dan Harmon working through his issues and insecurities.
What I'm arguing for is a bit of consistency. We all have our biases. At the very least own up to them.
It has no right to be good, but it is a shockingly entertaining and as good as you can hope for for family entertainment these days.
Because it would take 8 to 12 years, be as expensive as balls, and not be nearly as ambitious as this movie is.
This movie would be an A if it's primary reason for existence wasn't to achieve maximum synergy across global markets with a zillion dollar children's merchandising brand.
It's not his guilt (which is unproven) that disgusts me, It's the blatant and transparent attempts to ignore or alter basic facts surrounding the allegations, by Allen and his army of hipster apologists. If Dylan Farrow had written her harrowing account of Justin Bieber or R. Kelley or George Zimmerman molesting her…
No disagreement at all. I guess I just took issue with the word 'easy'. I wish making billions was easy.
If selling out was easy, we'd all be rich. The truth is having broad appeal is a lot of hard work.
Jay Leno might not be funny anymore, but he was and is a good host. The Tonight Show was less about his personality and more about making the guests look good. That was his primary responsibility. He sanded down the rougher and cynical edges of his stand-up to appeal to a broad audience.
New York Times, 1993.
Been following Starcraft for a while. Scarlett isn't just the best woman in the sport, she's hands down the best player in the Western hemisphere.
Farrow discovered nude photo's that Allen had taken of Soon Yi when she was 17. That's what triggered the divorce. So you're wrong.
It's a gradient. But there's enough circumstantial evidence out there me to say … not go out for boy's night out with Woody Allen.
I would be happy to eat crow and find out that Dylan and Mia are vindictive, compulsive liars and that the historical teen-fetishist and philanderer Woody Allen is telling the truth. I enjoyed his movies.
I've reached a point were I can no longer pretend it's okay to divorce art from an artist, and forgive artists like Polanski or Allen or Michael Jackson or whoever for their disturbing transgressions.
TOTALLY AWESOME FUN FACT!
What I like about this episode is that it felt like a throwback to the first season. It's still a cartoonish show, but the character's feel distinct, grounded and there are emotional stakes.
