I loathe the "why? You didn't blah blah." I'm just saying a shorter version of "I'm sorry that happened to you." Please relax, sympathy recipient.

I am terrifyingly sympathetic to your wife in this instance. I am guilty of the "I'm sorry" thing despite being a perfectly outspoken, functioning adult. And yet, whenever someone tries to break me of the habit by saying "stop apologizing!, half the time, all I can think to say is "I'm sorry" because I can't break

I'm really going to miss Bluebell! H.O.D.light and fluffy but always fun and I always hoped it would find a bigger audience than it did. I'm glad it got to go out in style.

I just caught started watching Farscape and, while late to the party, I have been reading these reviews after every episode I watch. Alasdair, I have enjoyed your analysis so much and I am so sad that there won't be more of these. Season 3 on won't be the same without the AV Club. :(

Bruce Springsteen's greatest hits, all the way. I stole it from my dad when I was a kid until it was permanently mine, playing it over and over again. As I get older, my favorites change, but I still love all of those songs.

I agree. I actually always thought of this as a sad song when I was younger because I thought the breakup of the marriage was so sad. But I remember talking to my mother about it and being surprised that she liked it bc she thought it was happy- the woman in the song goes off on her own to live life in a way she'll be

I grew up listening to country because my parents did and this is one of the few albums that has stayed in rotation over the years. Every couple of years, a new song on it becomes my favorite.

I though it was really well done. I was a pretty easy kid in general, but it took me back a bit to my teen years when I know I hurt my mother in much the same way as Bay hurt Katherine. That small bit of drama got me more than last week's shenanigans.

OK, I am super later to this, but seriously, has no-one said corndogs? This is insanity. A couple times a year, I buy a small box of the frozen state fair ones and I am in trouble until they are gone. True facts: a corndog is even a satisfying breakfast!

It's still fluffy summer fare, don't get me wrong. But it's high quality summer fare - fun times and I heartily recommend it as such. I hope you check it out!

I agree! I watched it the first season and enjoyed it as fluffy summer fare. Last season it didn't grab me and I just couldn't be bothered to watch. Imagine my surprise when I really enjoyed it the first time I caught it this season. I think it definitely stepped up its game. But I agree about the reset button being

It kind of reminds me of his great "this is what friends gear up for" bit from earlier in the season. Dan isn't perfect by any means, but at the end of the day, he cares about doing the right thing and he is very loyal to his friends. He's pretty awesome.

I have been giving this some thought and I think you have a good point, which is pretty screwed up. Don't get me wrong, Nina's actions have been reprehensible, but I am still willing to watch her and I wonder if I'd feel the same way if she was a man. I don't know.

Double Date is one of my favorite episodes of the first season. Joey and Pacey are always great together and Mary Beth doesn't take Dawson's crap.
