Double Date is one of my favorite episodes of the first season. Joey and Pacey are always great together and Mary Beth doesn't take Dawson's crap.

I love the original, by World Party. The Robbie Williams cover is pretty faithful, though.

Dawson, but Jen and Jack could compete during terrible story lines. Dawson is the one I find consistently hateable though.

Me too. But then, I was fourteen. Clearly, the preteens were picking up what he was laying down.

I think Dana is great in these two, especially in Mary Pat Shelby. It's so hard for me to look at that woman, carefully making tough calls (including the one to send Natalie out in the first place) and believe that she is the same one who is so wildly incompetent in her personal life.

I think this is absolutely true.

One of the things that is so hard to take about the Pacey/Tamara storyline is how much of a baby face Joshua Jackson has. He is not one of the actors who looks way older than your typical high schooler. I was a freshman in hs when the show came out and I thought it was a gross storyline then. Now that I am an adult, I…

I have never been able to root for Dawson He is consistently creepy, selfish, and controlling throughout the series. I feel like he never really outgrows that selfishness. The icing on the cake is that he is always proclaiming "I'm a nice guy!" He's a stealth jerk - seems all nice and floppy haired on the surface, but…
