I remember that "twin sister" plot in "Echoes of the Mind" as being similar to an episode of Hart to Hart staring Lois Chiles from perhaps a year or so earlier. The accuracy of Toth's book has been criticized, though I've not delved deeply enough myself to say whether she merely altered details to protect sources, conflated and embellished for dramatic effect, or just flat out made a lot of things up.
