Can't happen. Dexter is a superhero and must be admired. If he kills someone, it has to be a bad guy. If it's an innocent, then he has to cry for weeks. The writers wouldn't stand Dexter actually facing consequences.

I thought those scenes made sense, for once, and Darri Ingolfsson's acting was powerful- Rampling's too, of course-. Saxon wanting to be loved and taught to live free was logical. In a show where nothing is consistent, that's a relief.
