My favourite episode of AT ever is the one with the Snow Golem. Everytime a fire wolf appears on screen, my heart is filled with glee.

@avclub-1c0318dbf51f5c7bf9c39ff805ed97cc:disqus Wow. I did not know that. Man, that's just sad.
No, "Dexter" doesn't seem to care about answering whether or not Deb can keep Dexter's secret. She will, because Dexter needs it, and what Dexter needs is what needs to happen (I'm pretty sure I'm quoting Josh Alston's excellent review of 8.09). There's no ambiguity in this show anymore, just "HANNAH I LUV HANNAH IM…
Well, the season 8 writers did write that scene -they've been mostly the same since the beginning-. I agree. If a scene was to represent the show at its full potential, it would be this one. The thing is, the guys in charge of the direction of early seasons were replaced a while back -hence the ugly cinematography we…
Can't believe you remember that woman's name! You must be the exception.
Josh started reviewing this show in season 6, so I'm not sure why you say he's "had it in for the show since the beggining". Anyway, thanks Scott.
Fanboys can't accept their favourite show went downhill and occasional viewers give 8s and 9s probably because the show helps them pass the time or something.
Exactly. There were so many possibilities to end the show… Season 7 seemed like the beginning of something great. Then Laguerta became a bench, and everyone forgot about her.
I only read the reviews for Downton Abbey, but the last season received pretty much the same grades than Dexter.
I have like a hundred ideas of how to improve the show every week.
Yeah, Mos Def was awesome, and the direction still was creative. Then it went downhill but it was the entertaining kind of bad.
I've read the spoilers. What happens in the next episode is this: ridiculous situations, horrible storytelling, dumb twist. Same goes for the finale, by the way. It's very likely to get that "F".
The writers should just open their eyes and look at what they've done.
Thank you! I'm not crazy.
When the phone rang after Marie decided to stay home, I thought it was part of the musical score. It was like "Marie is a badass and she decides to stay, so let's play a energic instrumental song". But it was only a ringtone.
Does anyone understand what I am saying?
Exactly!
CAN YOU JUST SHOOT YOURSELF IN THE HEAD DEXTER CAN YOU?
JESUS. "WE WERE BUILDING UP TO THIS EPISODE'S REVEAL" ? HOW WAS THERE EVER ANYTHING CLOSE TO "BUILDING UP" THIS SEASON
@avclub-f9502a4e2c9cb33351220ddd8ac39da5:disqus The writers had planned to make Louis a serial killer. Maybe it would have been better to keep him and make HIM the brain surgeon instead of some random guy.
He had enough sway to change the Louis storyline because it was "too much"; but he can't say this for season 8, because everything is basically okay; it's just bad and boring.
