I feel like Dexter is extremely overrated nearly everywhere else (have you seen that piece in Rolling Stone where they say Dexter is "still fresh" or something?) and the AVC is the only place where we can laugh at the show for what it is. I used to comment here because it was quite good earlier in season…

The worst thing is David Nevins said earlier this year that "Dexter still had interesting stories to tell". It's like he's stuck in 2007.

Poor, poor MCH. I'm pretty sure he's aware of the horrid quality of this season, and it was impossible for him to get out. I feel sad for him having to say all those terrible dumb lines and betraying the original Dexter episode after episode.
