I thought that's what the trash compactor was!

That Ewok song (Yub Nub) is full of them!
And when the female aliens speak with that crazy Southern Space accent I find it hot, but when the dude aliens use it I just assume they're dumb.
I did watch it, and yeah, it's bad super inside beltway baseball and awful. I believe she says she's doing it for a fundraiser at one point, as she was already a minor celebrity in the political right, so that gives her some leeway in my book.
I think boys and girls are socialized differently. Boys have more permission/expectation to be the class clown, the wise ass. So you have less women pursuing being funny in general historically (now there are lots of role models, Tina Fey and others, thankfully.) And then stand up has been mostly male dominated for…
So it's a dark, gritty reboot of Archie? Nooo!
Good point. And glad we still have io9.
Remember that time Gawker gleefully destroyed that women's life for making a poorly executed Sarah Silverman type joke? Or the times they outed gay people? They made sport of public shaming.
If you have not seen MacGruber, go see MacGruber.
Yeah. Or at least the headline could've kept it a secret in the News Wire so we could choose whether or not to read it.
Or not available because he does movies and those pay a lot better than TV.
Why not send the city's newest hero who does well with no powers? We've been trying to make him cool and failing so far, so this could be a good chance, right?
Ambush Bug was the original Deadpool. Be nice if he can come back soon.
He was originally more of a Captain America every man with a shield (having the same creators as Cap) than a creature of the night Batman type, but also with a bunch of kids he helped out (as their, well, guardian). The character's been around a long long time. And this version may be the least interesting.
I like Mon-El's hero journey as going from the comics we know how it will likely end (for a while at least.)
So 1) Jack, 2) Janet, 3) Chrissy, 4) Mr. Roper, 5) Mrs. Roper, 6) Larry, 7) Cindy, 8) Mr. Furley, 9) Terri, and 10) Lana? Or is it Vicky? Which is it Mr. Butthole? I hope Lana!
Weird. I saw him last year doing a warm up show for a festival appearance and he was SO GOOD. Playful with the crowd, confident (playing the lovable asshole persona he plays but also warm and welcoming with the crowd). It was really terrific.
Yeah, I spotted that too. Los Feliz, Silver Lake, Echo Park, Atwater, maybe Hilghland Park… are these days referred to as the eastside. Nicknamed that in reference to the westside (Venice, Santa Monica, west L.a., Westwood, etc.) But East L.A. usually means the historically Latino neighborhoods east of the L.A.…
That was John McCain. Keepin' it classy.
Somewhat organic or Organa?
(I'll see myself out now.)
