"Ozzie and Harriet" did 434 episodes. "It's Always Sunny" is at 127. It's total BS to claim it's the longest running without qualifying it. "Ozzie and Harriet" would've been on until 1996 at that rate, or (more satisfyingly) "Cheers" until 2009. And of course "Sunny" is on cable so can have a smaller niche

Or they thought that since Dwayne McDuffie passed away he can't sue? (RIP, talented man.)

I agree that Force Awakens did a better job making us care for Rey and somewhat for Finn ("I hate killing!" Two seconds later "I'm killing my fellow Stormtroopers as I escape. No problem." Huh?) than Rogue One did. I think ten or fifteen minutes more at the start of the film focused on character would've helped a

What state are you in? In California the cheapest plans are much cheaper.

i think the death panels thing seemed so absurd that the Obama people didn't take it seriously (also it was coming from Sarah Palin) but with the right wing media went full on with it and people who are already wary of government and get their news from Rush and Hannity believed it. Conservative politicians joined

I thought it was a great (dark) joke, The pee stuff was okay ("You're in, you're in, you're in." made me laugh) but they seem to imply Trump wanted to talk about jobs while the media wanted to talk about the alleged sex tape. Not really the case and makes him look good to some degree.

This seems like the place to ask, has anyone know where I can find a clean version of There's Gonna Be Good Times? Like a radio edit? The explicit version (or just regular version, I suppose) is great fun but I can't play it with certain company. Thanks!

Tony Danza would have words with thee.

In my mind Trump is the Trump of Hollywood. Sure, he was a fixture of New York tabloids before NBC gave him a show, but "The Apprentice" brought him to a national audience and helped sell the false image that he was a brilliant business man. The guy has a star on the Hollywood walk of fame.

Donald was from Queens when the other rich kids were from Manhattan. Apparently, his having to be driven in a limo for an extra twenty minutes longer than the other kids was enough to foster insecurity.

That's a great idea. And yeah, some weakness is certainly needed (he's got the 24 hour time limit one too, I suppose.)

I think Green Lantern is a tricky character to do outside of comics. The intergalactic space cop angle is a great one, but the magic ring that can do almost anything except it doesn't work on anything yellow is super silly and very silver age comic booky (bookish?)

"Santa Baby" was way back in the aughts. This will be totally different.

I always liked her but then she did Fresh Air with Terry Gross recently and that theater kid thing was off the charts. She's super talented of course, and was indeed a very successful theater kid, so not really to blame I suppose, but just sadly not as cool as I'd imagined her.

I love "Running to Stand Still" but when bands tour classic albums it kind of rubs me the wrong way. Like they're admitting their new stuff will never match their past glories. Which maybe is honest, but feels a little like giving up. And it also removes some of the suspense of what they will play next.

Do they ever still play Gloria? That sounds like an amazing show.

Thanks!

That's what I was thinking!

Although if U2 is now touring with Joshua Tree I wonder if it'll get pushed back? I'd rather new stuff rather than a nostalgia jukebox tour but maybe the tour will mix in new stuff? You never know what those lovable lads from Liverpool will do next!

That's fantastic. I gave lots of my old ones to an after school daycare center years back. That was after I, less generously, first tried to sell them only to realize that those Marvel and DC comics from the 1980s that everyone else bought too weren't worth all that much.
