I put that on top, too. I'm a fan of Low's "Just Like Christmas", as a more recent one. The Ramones' "Merry Christmas (I Don't Want to Fight Tonight)" is another favorite.

I'll be ordering HBO so I can capture the Game of Thrones marathon on my DVR. And then I'm cancelling HBO. It'll be a post-Christmas miracle!
Hard not to like the "Fuck 2016" part of "I Shoulda Left You".
Journey somehow made the, um, journey from cheesy and bad, to people liking them ironically, to people liking them actually.
I agree but I saw another review where they tried to hide the ball and said the movie falls apart and gets creepy due to a bad story decision. I quickly figured out what that would mean (as I think others did and I'm not a creep?) If a story point fairly early in the movie makes it terrible, it's hard to review…
I adored Beginners (and the Terrier, too). Looking forward to this. It's been way too long.
I think Kitty and Star Lord are engaged! She just digs dudes named Peter.
Her husband killed welfare and criminalized blackness. The latter (the 1994 crime bill) at the time, was supported by a majority of members of the Black Congressional Caucus, too.
Yeah, remember when Hillary as First Lady was pivotal to the creation of the Children’s Health Insurance Program, which provides coverage for 8 million children. What a jerk!
I found it moving and cathartic. Different strokes!
Right down the middle was intentional. He wanted everyone to feel the show was for them (so no taking a political side or having a strong point of view.) It was inclusive but also the way to get the biggest audience.
Good points all! I look forward to Star Wars or Marvel putting forth a lead protagonist who is not white soon (Rogue One has a Latino actor with an accent as it's male lead so that was really refreshing.) Marvel seems to be moving slower than Star Wars for some reason (fear of fans revolting if the characters look…
Because it's great even if it's best song has been a bit overplayed at this point? Wayne has maybe gotten a bit too cutesy in recent years, but the music is fantastic.
Dumbledore implies kind of a harmless lovable character, but the Ancient One is not harmless as he's a very outdated offensive Asian stereotype. And so the filmmakers avoided that harmful cliche by making the character female, and to avoid another stereotype (the Dragon Lady) they made the character Celtic.
I don't know who Jason DeRulo is, but I like to imagine that he now works at Giant grocery store and makes them play his songs.
Did you see it in 3-d or standard? He looked mostly good to me (once or twice a little too digital.) Same with Leia (mostly good) I saw it in standard (non 3-d).
Interesting. I can see how the main story is indeed over, but I really liked the Darth Vader at the end, as it was good to see him be menacing beyond the choking thing.
No mention of "Superman: American Alien"? I thought it was one the best takes on Superman in ages. I'd love to see Landis do an ongoing Superman series.
Bottle Rocket is really fun, too. More playfully odd than twee. Rushmore is my favorite. I wish Anderson would start writing with Owen Wilson again.
Loved this sentence. Mr. Hughes… "I have songs and artists I love, but I lack the insatiable hunger to
constantly imbibe new sounds and craft new shards of identity from the
pieces." (The last part especially.)
