Yeah, he was a talented guy who didn't seem to take himself too seriously. And he entertained my young self for many many hours. Sad news.

And yet as a kid I loved that joke. And still remember it. They knew their audience! (And may have been going through piles and piles of coke.)

I only tried the first issue of The Flintstones and while I liked the art a lot, I found the writing way too cynical and kind of obvious in the satire. I want my Flinstones joyful. Like Fred "Twinkle Toes" Flintstone bowlng joyful.

I think it would be fantastic, but the rights to so many shows are all over the place. Might be hard to get the shows they want. Or not!

I kind of wish there was no picture, as my image of him was so different. I imagined a younger, preppy, clean cut professor type. He looks more like an unkempt, big ol' friendly teddy bear. Now what do I do???

The creators (Gerry Conway for Man-Thing and Len Wein for Swamp Thing) were roommates at the time and after The Heap was featured in Jim Steranko's History of Comics (which I guess they passed around), they came out with the characters.

I like that it's Billys Elliot and not Billy Elliots. Like Attorneys General. Well done!

I liked it a lot, but Keith sort of came off as a prick at times (no offense to your avatar choice.) Which makes for a more authentic autobiography but a little harder to be a fan.

Actually, I thought Sting and Stewart Copeland fought more? Although Sting was often insufferable back then, so probably both.

Yeah, the creators of the show worked hard to give us this great visual, the money shot of the episode, and it gets ruined by an ad for a movie that the entire audience of SHIELD was already planning on seeing. So annoying.

Also, would have been better served by not having one of our hammiest actors do his voice.

The guy who went off at the mouth and alleged voter fraud is the President-elect not a fringe candidate pursuing her legal right (even if mostly a way to increase her profile/money/mailing list.) It's much more powerful when he does it.

I do think they have to find ways to pierce the conservative media bubble. Just check out FOX News' website now and then and compare it to what's on the cover of the Times or on CNN. Some stories not covered on FOX, others spun entirely to a conservative viewpoint. Add conservative radio and Facebook… it leads good

I think that's true and also it makes me think of his "I'm a puppet? You're a puppet!" moment. Jill Stein implies there may have been fraud so he rails back there was… against him!

I think 10 of those Democratic seats up for grabs in 2018 are in the Trump states. They would need to lose 8 (or 9 if the Dems can somehow get that seat in Louisiana next week).

And kids, this is how Kanye became president.

"You know, there's going to be sex, drugs, rock-n-roll… chips, dips,
chains, whips… You know, your basic high school orgy type of thing. I
mean, uh, I'm not talking candlewax on the nipples, or witchcraft or
anything like that, no, no, no. Just a couple of hundred kids running
around in their underwear, acting like

Plus, it's hilarious.

I could be totally wrong, but I don't think he touched her anus. Meaning nothing was inserted. It's simulated. He still likely touched her butt with butter when she didn't want him to do so.

My favotite discoveries this year were "Employee of the Month" and "Mortified." The former is a talk show about what people do for a living with amazing guests (Jon Hamm, Gloria Steinem, Jon Stewart), and a really funny host. And the latter is a podcast of the best of the live Mortified events (where people read
