Maybe it has to do with timing? Like Superman won't be in another DC movie coming out this year so it's okay to use him? Who knows!

Yeah, he's incredible with imagery at times. Such a bummer he can never keep it up for more than a scene at a time.

I think that's true and also having to mostly use physical effects in the original ones helped a lot, too.

Oof. But you're probably right.

The character interactions of the main cast are much better written this season, it's a bummer the villains still get such corny dialogue and one note characterizations. They feel like they're from a different (much dumber) show.

But the eyebrows! So distracting. He's charming as can be, thankfully.

That "Brady Bunch" one used to confuse me as a kid. Why do the Brady kids never hang out with these kids again? Why did we spend so much time with them? If the Brady Bunch are going to hang out with another family shouldn't it be the Partridge family?

As I remember it the one with Woody was so depressing as it basically was about the very real growing apart that can happen with old friends you haven't seen in a while. But an odd choice to use with a beloved character's return on a comedy.

Cast Away is what came to mind for me first as well. Saw the trailer and decided I had no reason to see the movie. The one for Ransom was pretty egregious as well. Gave away the whole twist of the movie.

It was a big step down from the previous one in terms of quality but Zorn dancing to Blues Traveler really made me laugh (his being a fan and having the live album, too.) Drunk Craig was a lot of fun too.

I like it but part of me wonders if it wouldn't have worked better as a recurring sketch on SNL. As I'm not sure there's a whole series in the premise.

I'm not sure. Maybe…

Wow. That is fantastic analysis. Hopefully they realized what went wrong too, and fixed it by next episode (however many months ago they shot the episode.) Hope you come back next week!

Yeah, Slott will go down as one of the great Spidey writers. He writes an all-ages book that feels both retro and modern at the same time. Just not crazy about the current status quo.

I wasn't a huge fan either (i would give it a B) as for me it featured the more annoying version of Tandy as opposed to the charmingly annoying version. I would've been happier with the episode starting with them all getting the hell out of Malbu once they realized they might be in danger as the next adventure

Me! Most of the Marvel movies have been a good time at the movies where I get to see the heroes of my childhood brought to life. I'll keep going as long as they stay pretty good to occasionally great.

Not the current version in the comics. His life is swell. Pete Parker's a beloved world famous inventor and rich to boot. I realize it will all come crashing down soon (the old Parker luck and all that) but still been a very odd direction for the book to go in. Different for sure, but more odd than fun or

An annual day long comedy festival put on by Tenecious D in L.A.. This year with Weird Al, Flight of the Conchords, Sarah Silverman, Paatton Oswalt and lots of others.

He opened as Ferrecito for one of the solo shows I saw and was hilarious. It took the audience (or at least me) a few minutes to realize it was all a bit. And then his Sex Pistols type band on SNL was also really funny.

Thanks everyone!
