I think he's a bit underwritten but he feels real to me. Not funny per se (and Cera could be very funny), but I can believe him as a shy teenager.

Yeah, I noticed that line too (and also agree it's a well written review despite that sentence.) Comedies in general need a few episodes to find their footing (Parks and Rec took almost the whole first season.) And this one has such an odd premise it might take longer. Definitely the best episode so far, which is…
For those of us (I'm old) who still have the subscription to get the DVDs (I'm old) has the DVD library shrunk as well? (I'm old.) I have the streaming service too (not THAT old.)
Rachel Dratch gave us the most memorable character of the last 15 years (Debbie Downer) so she is missed.
It made almost $250 million, and got a high Rotten Tomatoes score. I didn't want to like it as Peanuts should not be 3D but it did capture the essence of the strip.
I think he declares bankruptcy at some point, no?
You could say, yoyodyne is a Gigantic fan, in fact.
I loved the band in their day, but remember being disappointed when Trompe Le Monde came out (It had good moments for sure. UMass is my favorite on it.) So to me Indie Cindy actually felt like what could be their next album. With the quality continuing to go down a little but still pretty good and not a big drop…
The show has been getting better, which is good to see. Having Trump on the show at all still remains deeply disappointing. He had already called Mexican immigrants rapists by this point. Terrible decision on the show's part. And then the super light treatment once he was on, only made things worse. A real low in…
U2 just had their 40th anniversary. Although the first release wasn't until 1979/1980 so not quite 40 year discography. If albums that are at least half full of great songs count as essential, I'd put their discography up there as pretty damn consistently strong.
Can we pitch the idea that she anchor Weekend Update on her own and we get rid of the two who aren't really working out?
I can imagine Debbie Downer delivering the headline to this article (with the Debbie Downer sound effect after she says it.)
That show hasn't been funny since… (fill in the year your were in 7th grade.)
No mention of "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" or "Better Off Dead"? For shame!
So much great work done by screenwriters, so little credit. Sigh.
"Some of his greatest songs are found on the footnote albums of Human Touch and Lucky Town…"
"Under Fidel's Thumb"
"Sympathy for the Capitalist Imperialists"
"It's Only the Last Vestige of the Cold War (But I Like It)"
I think they might be in Purgatory and how they act in this stage will decide where they go next. Kristin Bell's character has an
obvious ethical dilemma, but then her "soul mate" does too — and he has chosen
to protect her secret. I think all of them might be being tested.
But in the current model the studios that make the shows for the networks lose money on each episode unless it goes to syndication. So a limited series can't work unless the networks start paying a lot more to air each episode.
I counter your argument with Last Man on Earth!
