I think one of the whores from Heart of Gold was Asian, and some of the background characters. And that's it.

Would it help if you think of it as less a meta-commentary on the show, and more as an actual Brown Coat folk song?

As mentioned in the article, Fun Home by Alison Bechdel is excellent. Otherwise you could try Ghost World by Daniel Clowes, Black Hole by Charles Burns, or Maus by Art Spiegleman.

I haven't read the essay (and I'm not going to), but it's it's simple to come up with an explanation for Mordor's economy. Basically, Sauron had lots of slaves, toiling away in Nurn .
Armie Hammer. His full name is Armand Hammer.
Really the description of her experiment makes this movie seem like the prequel to Y: The Last Man.
The first four years of Homicide are fantastic, and year five was still pretty good. Unfortunately, season six quickly turned to shit and I had to stop watching (damn you Jon Seda!).

I think Ender's Game really only works if you're twelve years old or younger. It's a book I actually regret rereading as an adult, since I loved it as a kid, and found that it didn't hold up very well.
This seems like the right place to post about my crush on 90s era Dave Foley.
Eh, one of the definitions of generic is "lacking any distinctive quality" which pretty much sums up Mr. Tatum to a tee. I stand by my description.
I agree. He is theoretically good looking, but at the same time very generic and forgettable.
What still bothers me, however, is the way Turk so casually steps into
claims of racial collusion … it seems strange that Turk would rush to that conclusion given his earlier concerns about the challenges he faced as an African-American doctor.
I only recall hearing about Mr. Turk once, when Turk recounts his family's horrible Thanksgivings. And then they get together and do it all over at Christmas.
